Is There a Lagos Life App? The Honest Answer
Is there a Lagos Life app? No — the game is web-only. Here is how to play on your phone's browser and how to avoid fake lagoslife app downloads.
One of the most-searched questions about the game is simple: is there a Lagos Life app? The honest answer is no — there is no official Lagos Life app on the Play Store, the App Store, or anywhere else. And that is not a problem, because the game does not need one.
Lagos Life is web-only — by design
The game's maker, Elicity, built Lagos Life as a web game. It runs entirely in your browser at lagoslife.eliysites.com. No download, no installation, no updates to manage, no storage space needed. That is how the game is meant to be played, and there has never been an official mobile app.
Why everyone keeps searching for a "lagoslife app"
It is a reasonable expectation. Most games live in app stores now, so people naturally search for "lagoslife app," "lagos life game app," or a "lagos life game app link" assuming an app must exist. The searches are real — but the app is not. The good news: the thing you actually want (playing the game on your phone) works perfectly without any app.
How to play on your phone without an app
Open your phone's browser — Chrome on Android or Safari on iPhone — and go to lagoslife.eliysites.com. Create your Lagosian and play, just like on a computer. Everything works in the mobile browser. Pro tip: you can even add the page to your home screen from your browser's menu, which gives you an app-like shortcut without installing anything unofficial.
Watch out for fake Lagos Life downloads
This is the important part. Because so many people search for a Lagos Life app, some sites offer fake "lagoslife app download" files or APKs. Do not install these. They are not from the game's maker, and installing random APKs is one of the easiest ways to end up with malware on your phone. The rule is simple: the real game never asks you to download anything. If a site is pushing a file at you, it is not the real Lagos Life. We keep the full safety breakdown on our play-in-browser page.
The bottom line
No app, no download, no problem — the Lagos Life game plays free in your browser on any device. If you are ready, our step-by-step guide walks you through your first session.
